Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended,
requires Federal agencies to take into account the effect of their undertakings
on properties included in or eligible for inclusion in the National
Register of Historic Places, and to afford the Advisory Council for
Historic Preservation a reasonable opportunity to comment on such undertakings. As
consultants, we help with the preparation of compliance documents that
assist the State Historic Preservation Office, the governmental agency
sponsoring the undertaking and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation
in making informed decisions regarding the identification and treatment
of historic resources that may be affected by a Federally funded or
permitted project.
